We bid farewell.

Last fall, on our way to Montana for Labor Day weekend, we stopped in Sand Point, Idaho to visit Norman and Ruth.  Norman is the last of 13 children, one of whom was my mother-in-law’s father.  He was sharp as a tack and gave strong bear hugs and healthy handshakes.  I wanted him to live forever, but the world lost him this past Thursday.  He was 93.  I feel very fortunate to have known him. 1. I’m sorry, Sheila. Norm looks like such a good man. Loss is loss. We miss those we love–no matter how long we had them. Thinking about you and your family. XX
